ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Care Beyond the System
Miranda Weathersby began her career in healthcare inside hospitals and clinics across Houston, managing working behind the scenes with records, admissions, and claims behind the scenes. It was there she witnessed firsthand how easily people become files, numbers, and processes, — and how much humanity is lost when care ends at administration. As she moved into care management and supervision, she became the person families and caregivers relied on when things went wrong. Through that work, she learned that continuity, accountability, and genuine real presence are not extras, they are everything — they are essential.
In 2014, care became deeply personal. When Miranda’s mother was diagnosed with cancer, what began as a family responsibility became a calling and one that forever shaped how she shows up for others. Care Guild was born from everything Miranda had lived and learned, the clinical knowledge, the caregiving instincts, and the belief that every person deserves to be truly known, not just managed.

Our care team is intentionally small and carefully selected for experience, judgment, and the ability to provide steady, thoughtful care in real-life situations.
